The Mechanical Engineering Students' Association (MESA) is a vibrant, student-run body that actively connects students of the Mechanical Engineering and Automobile Engineering departments. MESA serves as a dynamic platform that encourages innovation, collaboration, and professional growth among students by complementing classroom learning with co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
Through MESA, students gain valuable opportunities to conceptualize, organize, and participate in technical and non-technical events, fostering creativity, teamwork, and leadership skills. The association plays a key role in nurturing students' confidence, communication abilities, and problem-solving mindset, while also promoting peer learning and industry awareness.

INDUSTRY INTERACTION PAGE
The Department of Mechanical Engineering maintains strong and continuous interaction with industry and professional organizations to bridge the gap between theory and practice, enhance employability, and promote applied research and consultancy.
The department actively undertakes consultancy and technical services as accredited consultants to reputed government and private organizations, including:
Structural, Geotechnical, and Quality Control Consultancy to GHMC, Government of Andhra Pradesh
Quality Control and Proof Consultancy for M/s. Singareni Collieries
Liaison and technical interaction with national organizations such as Survey of India and NRSA
Creation and analysis of databases for traffic volume studies in collaboration with HMDA and GHMC
To keep students abreast of emerging industrial practices, the department regularly organizes expert lectures, technical talks, and interactive sessions delivered by eminent professionals from industry, research institutions, and academia.
The department is supported by an active Students' Association (MESA), which plays a vital role in organizing technical events, industrial interactions, seminars, and symposia. Students of the department have consistently brought laurels by participating in and winning prizes at technical competitions and by presenting papers at national and international conferences.
Industrial Visits -
Industrial exposure is an integral part of the curriculum. The department organizes regular industrial visits to reputed industries, R&D organizations, and manufacturing units to provide students with first-hand experience of real-world engineering practices.
