About

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) at MVSR Engineering College was established in 1997, with its first batch graduating in 2001. Over the past two decades, the department has evolved continuously, imparting quality education and producing competent engineers who contribute significantly to industry, research, and society.

To impart quality knowledge and prepare students to become technically competent, socially responsible, and ethically committed professionals with strong human values.

Mission

The department strives to provide a strong engineering foundation along with professional, innovative, and leadership skills through the following initiatives:

Providing a sound foundation in power systems, electrical machines, power electronics, drives, and allied engineering areas

Creating a supportive and student-centric learning environment that makes learning engaging and stimulating

Encouraging design, development, and innovation in electrical systems to promote entrepreneurial thinking

Inculcating effective communication skills, lifelong learning, professional ethics, and societal responsibility

Accreditation

The B.E. (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) program is Provisionally Accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for a period of three years with effect from 15th June 2022, affirming the department's commitment to quality education and continuous improvement.
