The Institution Innovation Council (IIC) at MVSR Engineering College has been established with the vision of developing a Centre of Excellence for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The Council actively promotes a culture of creativity, innovation, and startup orientation among students, faculty, and alumni.
IIC functions in accordance with the guidelines of the Central MIC and undertakes innovation and entrepreneurship-related activities in a time-bound manner, including hackathons, idea competitions, mini-challenges, and industry-linked innovation programs. Through structured initiatives and industry involvement, IIC contributes to building a strong innovation ecosystem on campus.

Functions of IIC
- Identify, motivate, and showcase innovative ideas and success stories
- Promote innovation through multiple institutional platforms
- Train student innovators and budding entrepreneurs
- Organize workshops, seminars, FDPs, and interactions with entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals
- Create and maintain a mentor pool for student innovators
- Establish networks with peer institutions and national entrepreneurship development organizations
- Collaborate with the institution's Research & Development Cell to highlight innovative projects
- Conduct Hackathons, Codeathons, Idea Competitions, and Mini-Challenges with industry participation
